Ewe wood mask, 'The Communicator'
By Robert Nortey, this tall, sleek mask is named Earnkaloh, or "Communicator" in the Ewe language. The smooth, symmetrical visage is painted by hand. "It is believed that you can communicate with your maker, our Heavenly Father, through this piece. It is kept by many who pray to God," Nortey says.
