Shawl, 'Maya Wind Spirit'
Designed by Maya Colop Morales, this lovely shawl is woven by hand, its colors inspired by summer meadows. Hand tied fringe finishes a wrap of modern grace. She names her design Kejeb, which means "Four" in the K'iche language. In Maya cosmology, the number four symbolizes the four elements, the four seasons and the spirits of the stones and winds.
